Returns, Home Trial & Limited Warranty Policy

At Cozy, we want customers to feel confident trying Cozy Bedside in the real sleep environment it was designed for.
This policy explains your 30-Day Home Trial, how returns work, what is covered by the Cozy 3-Year Limited Warranty, and what conditions apply.
This policy applies only to purchases made directly from Cozy through our official website or official direct sales channels unless otherwise stated.
A. 30-Day Home Trial & Returns Policy
1. 30-Day Home Trial
If you purchase Cozy Bedside directly from Cozy, you may request a return within 30 calendar days of delivery for a refund, subject to the conditions below.
This gives you time to try Cozy in your bedroom and decide whether it is right for you.
2. Who This Return Policy Applies To
This return policy applies only to:
- Purchases made directly from Cozy through our website or official direct sales channels
- U.S. orders, unless otherwise stated
If you purchased Cozy through Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Ace, Lowe's, an authorized retailer, or another third-party seller, your return must be handled according to that seller's return policy.
3. Return Authorization Required
To start any return, you must contact Cozy Support and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before shipping anything back.
To request an RMA, please provide:
- Order number
- Name on order
- Email address used on order
- Serial number
- Reason for return
- Photos or video if requested by support
Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned to sender.
4. Return Window
- Return request must be submitted within 30 days of delivery
- Once your RMA is issued, your return must be shipped within 14 days
- Returns shipped after the authorized return window may be denied
5. Condition Required for Refund
To qualify for a refund, returned items must be received in:
- Complete condition
- Clean, non-abusive, reasonably maintained condition
- Working order unless reported defective
- Original serial number intact and matching Cozy records
- With original power supply and included accessories
- With original packaging if reasonably available
Cozy Bedside may be used during the home-trial period, but returned items must remain in refurbishable condition.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following are non-returnable unless defective on arrival:
- Opened or used replacement filters
- Consumables
- Gift cards
- Final-sale items
- Clearance items
- Products with removed, altered, or unreadable serial numbers
- Products damaged by misuse, abuse, improper handling, smoke saturation, infestation, water damage, or improper return packaging
7. Shipping Charges
If the item is being returned for change of mind / satisfaction reasons:
- Cozy may provide a prepaid return label
- Return shipping cost may be deducted from your refund
- Any expedited shipping selected at checkout is not refundable
If the item is defective, damaged on arrival, or Cozy sent the wrong item:
- Cozy will cover standard return shipping
- No shipping deduction will apply
8. Household Abuse Limits
To protect against repeated product-trial abuse:
- Cozy may limit one opened-unit satisfaction return per household, address, payment method, or customer account within a 12-month period
- For multi-unit orders or bundles, Cozy may limit the home-trial policy to one opened unit per order, unless additional units are defective
- Repeated abusive return activity may result in denied returns or cancelled future orders
9. Inspection and Refund Processing
All returned products are inspected after receipt.
If a return is missing parts, excessively dirty, physically damaged, serial-mismatched, or otherwise unsellable / unrefurbishable due to customer-caused condition, Cozy may:
- Deny the refund
- Deduct reasonable refurbishment or replacement costs
- Or offer to return the item to the customer at the customer's expense
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection. Please allow 10 business days after inspection for the refund to appear.
10. Filter Return Policy
Replacement filters may be returned only if they are:
- Unopened
- Unused
- In original sealed packaging
- And return is requested within 30 days of delivery
Used filters are not returnable except in the case of verified defect on arrival.
B. Cozy 3-Year Limited Warranty
1. Warranty Coverage Period
Cozy provides a 3-Year Limited Warranty on eligible Cozy devices purchased directly from Cozy or from an authorized seller.
The warranty period begins on the date of original delivery or original retail purchase, as verified by Cozy's records or valid proof of purchase.
2. What the Warranty Covers
This warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship, and normal residential-use performance. Examples may include manufacturing-related issues involving:
- Internal electronics
- Motor or fan system
- Controls
- Factory-installed components
- Housing defects caused by manufacturing fault
3. What Cozy Will Do
If a valid warranty claim is approved, Cozy may, at its discretion:
- Repair the unit
- Replace the unit with a new or refurbished equivalent
- Replace the defective component
- Or refund the original purchase price if repair or replacement is not commercially reasonable
4. What Is Not Covered
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic wear not reported promptly after delivery
- Consumables such as filters (except as stated below)
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or improper use
- Damage caused by liquids, fire, smoke, insects, pets, or environmental contamination
- Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or disassembly
- Damage caused by non-approved power accessories
- Commercial, rental, institutional, or non-household use unless expressly approved in writing
- Products with removed, altered, or unreadable serial numbers
5. Filter Limited Defect Coverage
Filters are consumable items and are not covered by the 3-Year Limited Warranty.
However, genuine Cozy replacement filters are covered by a 30-day limited defect warranty against manufacturing defects, provided:
- The filter was purchased from Cozy or an authorized seller
- It was used as directed
- And the defect claim is made within 30 days of delivery
6. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To request warranty service, contact Cozy Support and provide:
- Order number or proof of purchase
- Serial number
- Description of the issue
- Photos or video if requested
- Shipping address
- Troubleshooting information if requested
Cozy may require basic troubleshooting before approving a warranty return or replacement.
7. Shipping Under Warranty
For approved warranty claims, Cozy will cover standard shipping for repair or replacement within the contiguous United States.
Expedited shipping is not included unless required by law or approved by Cozy.
8. Authorized Seller Requirement
This warranty applies only to products purchased:
- Directly from Cozy
- Or from a Cozy-authorized seller
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers may not be covered.
9. Product Registration
Product registration is encouraged, but proof of purchase remains the primary method of warranty validation unless otherwise stated.
